Oh wow we made it friends! We got through yet another year, and what a year it has been, am I right? No, no this is not a post about the “best of 2016” nor will I bore you with my resolutions… YET. I’ll be honest, I haven’t made time (totally typed “didn’t have time” but then I realized this is a perspective thing I’d like to change over here and maybe that starts with vocabulary changes haha, baby steps people, babysteps!) anyway as I was saying, I haven’t made time yet to really reflect on 2016. I fully intend to schedule in some hours with a huge mug of tea and a blanket on the couch with pen and paper to recap this last year within the next couple of weeks. But for now I wanted to drop you all a little note, letting you know I am so thankful you’re still here and that you’ll be hearing a lot more from this little place right here soon!

2017, I still think you’re a weird number and besides what I’m having for breakfast tomorrow I have no idea what you have in store for us, but I’m welcoming you with arms wide open!

I wish you all a year filled with love, with kindness and good health. A year of adventures and goal chasing, of incredible food and even better people surrounding you. Time to start working on those

365 blank pages friends, thats a whooooole lot of space to draw, doodle, decorate and develop our stories.

Lets make something beautiful out of it, shall we?

I don’t know if you recognize this but Netflix-binge-evenings always leave me feeling a bit uneasy, unproductive and a little bit guilty. So the other night after indulging in some 80’s classics I decided to watch Cowspiracy, you know, to balance out the evening. I’d heard a bunch of people talk about it before and wanted to see what the fuss was all about and it got me thinking. Life’s rhythm can be so odd. There’s periods of months and months in which very little seems to change and then BOOM within a heartbeat you’re in the loopy part of the rollercoaster ride and you don’t know where to look because you’re going so fast!
