After the first days I had to turn the wheel around and give Berlin a second chance and mainly focussed on the city through my lens.

I tried to experiment more with my camera. shooting from lower heights and capturing more street views than just postcard-like images of buildings (which I still love to do as well). Just as I am getting more and more into architecture, statues are starting to fascinate me. Isn’t it incredible how someone can make the roughest, life-less materials look so soft and life-like?

Berlin was an extraordinary experience, I’m still a bit confused by it. I was definitely uncomfortable and frustrated  at times but this was contrasted by the ease of making friends with other travelers. I think I need to come back and get a better taste of the city. The museum island is definitely one of my favorite parts but I’m sure there’s a lot more to explore!

Have you ever been to Berlin? What are some of your favorite things to do/see?
Liefs,
Yara

Absolutely love Berlin! The city has so much to offer – my favorites are the MQ, East Side Gallery and Markthalle 9 :)
