Paris is always a good idea, but when your mom arranges for you to have your birthday weekend in Paris, its more than a good idea, its the very best idea.
Its been a couple of months since we went on this trip so going through the pictures was extra special and I had a lot of trouble selecting the pictures I wanted to share, because hello its Paris, which city is more photogenic? So instead of bombarding you with 100+ pictures per post I split up the weekend in a couple of posts. Hope you enjoy them as much as did.
This year my birthday fell in the same weekend as Easter weekend and for some reason we completely forgot about that. Its safe to say we weren’t the only people who packed their bags for a weekend in Paris and the city was completely overtaken by tourists/travelers. No one seemed to bothered by how cold it was and wherever you turned you could at least identify 5 different languages being spoken and count 10 selfiesticks. Its not my favorite time to explore a city, but on the other hand it has a certain charm to see all these different people from all over the world, crammed in line to go see the Sacre Coeur. It makes me think of what a special time it is to be alive and how privileged I am to be able to travel and meet people from every corner of the globe.
