How are we all doing friends? Currently I am..
and thats okay. I am trying to take deep breaths and listen to my instincts more and that comes with big life choices. Even though I am feeling pretty uncomfortable right now, I know it will pass and its just part of the journey. (Now if only I could have this peaceful outlook every single moment of the day, that would be great).
getting on top of my goal of learning Italian by practicing every single day. I’ve said it before and I’ll gladly tell every single person I know; I love Duolingo! Are you on it too? Lets hold each other accountable.
that I watched the ENTIRE first season of Girlboss on Netflix the other day. I loved it more than I thought I would and got so motivated! And now I really want more episodes soon please. But I guess I’ll have to wait, so in the mean time I will need a new show to watch so feel free to drop some suggestions in the comments :).
all the super cute workout gear from Outdoor Voices, especially the navy and the cactus green sets, oh my. One part of me can’t wait till they deliver in the Netherlands but the wiser part knows its for best that they don’t for my wallet..
that Mari Kondo book. Any of you have experience with it and applying the method? I seriously need to purge some clothes but I am guilty of coming up with “but what if I miss it, or want to wear it with xyz, but it still fits & this could be useful (in the very unlikely situation) when…” types of excuses. So I think I should give the book a try since I’ve heard so many raving reviews.
the baked sweet potato fries with rosemary I made for lunch yesterday. There is a really good chance I could (and will) eat them every single day without getting sick of it.
the fact that I am still wearing winter clothes.. IN MAY! Okay I totally realize that the weather is not something to complain about, its not cool. But I am craving a little bit of sunshine so badly, I swear the world lightens up and everything just feels better. I bought a new bikini just in case things turn around, so I am prepared. Bring it on spring/summer!!
The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. Its my second attempt which is slightly embarrassing because its such a small book and its a book so many people have recommended but I just couldn’t get through it the first time. Have you read it before?
(Most importantly) Thankful
for friendship. I said it on Instagram the other day but really, more than ever before, this year I learned that if you have amazing people in your life, there’s really little more you need.
So that was me, what about you? What are you guys up to? :)
