Oh wow we made it friends! We got through yet another year, and what a year it has been, am I right? No, no this is not a post about the “best of 2016” nor will I bore you with my resolutions… YET. I’ll be honest, I haven’t made time (totally typed “didn’t have time” but then I realized this is a perspective thing I’d like to change over here and maybe that starts with vocabulary changes haha, baby steps people, babysteps!) anyway as I was saying, I haven’t made time yet to really reflect on 2016. I fully intend to schedule in some hours with a huge mug of tea and a blanket on the couch with pen and paper to recap this last year within the next couple of weeks. But for now I wanted to drop you all a little note, letting you know I am so thankful you’re still here and that you’ll be hearing a lot more from this little place right here soon!
2017, I still think you’re a weird number and besides what I’m having for breakfast tomorrow I have no idea what you have in store for us, but I’m welcoming you with arms wide open!
I wish you all a year filled with love, with kindness and good health. A year of adventures and goal chasing, of incredible food and even better people surrounding you. Time to start working on those

I don’t know if you recognize this but Netflix-binge-evenings always leave me feeling a bit uneasy, unproductive and a little bit guilty. So the other night after indulging in some 80’s classics I decided to watch Cowspiracy, you know, to balance out the evening. I’d heard a bunch of people talk about it before and wanted to see what the fuss was all about and it got me thinking. It got me thinking for days and the more I thought about it, the more I wanted to talk about it, and the more I talked, the more I felt like I needed to do something. Continued
Life’s rhythm can be so odd. There’s periods of months and months in which very little seems to change and then BOOM within a heartbeat you’re in the loopy part of the rollercoaster ride and you don’t know where to look because you’re going so fast! I’ve definitely been in the loopy part of the rollercoaster lately, so lets catch up shall we? Continued
There’s a couple of places you can loose me in for hours, if not days. Candy stores and bookshops are on the list of places and museums most certainly are too. Continued
Two days before we left for Paris I bought a new skirt. Continued
Paris is always a good idea, but when your mom arranges for you to have your birthday weekend in Paris, its more than a good idea, its the very best idea. Continued
I’ll admit that I aaaallmost crowned this post with the title “This is the start of something new”, but Bob Dylan won over Highschool Musical because.. well, I’m trying to adult over here. Continued
The other day I was having one of those “meeeh” days so I was going through some TED talks videos, looking for some inspiration/motivation, when I found a video that really resonated with me & just had to share it with you guys. Continued
When we were planning our Portugal trip we unanimously agreed we’d want to do a Port tasting. I’d never done a wine or port tasting before and it can never hurt to learn something new (especially when it comes to food and drinks, I’m all in!). Continued
