Postcards From | Paris pt. 3!

posted in: Postcards From, Travel | 5

Can you believe I’m still posting from our first day in Paris? After fueling up on some food we wanted to see as much as we could by foot so we walked around for some hours and made our way to the Notre Dame just in time to see the sun go down.

Gorgeous Emily!

I don’t know what it is about buildings, food and flowers but looking at them through a lens seems to make them even prettier!

Though Paris is magical regardless of time of day, when the sun started to set the atmosphere shifted to this gorgeous romantic setting and it quite literally took our breath away..

She’s telling me I’m doing it wrong haha ;).

Beautiful Notre Dame

Ever so classy

She’s teaching me some bits about portrait photography, man its hard!

But she’s way more skilled!

Though the sun went down and we were quite exhausted we had one more big thing planned before we could call it a day; dinner (of course) near the river (of course). We talked and laughed as we were walking through the little streets that seemed to buzz with excitement the later it got. We finally landed ourselves a spot outside and ordered as many typical things as we could. Unfortunately Emily wasn’t too keen on ticking off “eat escargot” from my bucket list (and by wasn’t keen I mean she absolutely refused to.. but its okay, I still love you Em haha) so I guess thats a great reason to go back to France some days soon. But before I start planning a next trip to France there is still a lot more from Paris to share because we had a full day ahead of us!

To Be Continued..

You and Emily are both so gorgeous! Portrait photography is so fun, and it gets a lot easier with practice (:

I love the shot of Emily with her back to the camera in the alleyway! I did a lot of the same things you did when I went to Paris last year, and it’s so fun to look at these photos.
