Whoohoo the first ‘Currently I am’-post of 2018! I secretly really like sharing these mini updates and I even go through some old posts every now and then. So I’m planning to keep this series in for the coming year, I hope you enjoy them too.

because my favorite lady on youtube Adriene from Yoga with Adriene, has created a new 30 day yoga journey this year. She has created others in the past, however I never managed to follow any of the other 30 day “challenges” through to the end before. But this time is different, I am excited and motivated to make this one, THE ONE.
The Crown! I know I am late to the party, I know I know. and before you quickly look at me with disregard when I tell you that I am not even through season one yet, I want to tell you something. I quit binge watching things on Netflix. I don’t like how it feels to come to the shocking realization that I finished a whole season of something in one day. I have to admit its hard to stop after one episode and not “just watch oneeee more” and now that Friends is on there its a whole lot harder too. Anyway back to The Crown, I’m watching one episode per week, like the good old days when you had to wait a whole week for a new episode to come on air and it has really become a moment in the week I look forward to.
a new job! Today! I’m excited (and a little nervous.. that never seems to go away does it?)
Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom (find it here!). I finally picked up this book because I have been listening to more podcasts in this last year and recently heard an interview Oprah held with Mitch Albom about the 20 year anniversary of the book. I got quite inspired and decided to make it the second book I’m reading with my little book club (oh man speaking of excitement, remind me to tell you more about this later!). So far the book looks like a pink post-it exploded on it, there is just so much in this tiny little book! Can’t wait to share it with you all.

having a positive mindset. The second half of 2017 I spent a lot of time consciously listening and finding out what goes on in my mind on a daily basis. Building on that I would like to get more control of it. If thoughts don’t serve me or others I want to get rid of them. And if certain habits or actions help me get in the right mindset/energy I want to invest more time in those. Its all a process isn’t it?
Matt Corby. The other day my roomie was looking at her phone and said; “What do I listen to now that Christmas is over? what did I used to listen to?” Haha its funny because I know exactly how she felt, we’ve had Christmas-y music on in the house a lot lately. After weeks of Christmas music and cheery, upbeat tunes on repeat it feels like I need to counterbalance with a dose of more moody, slow and inspiring music.
